Many years ago Mihály Csukrán won the national boxing championship, but he went on drinking and fighting in the streets, so he was soon forced to move back to his hometown. From his disability pension he supported his impoverished parents. Despite their poor living conditions he managed to set up four Guiness records, such as running the marathon seven times. He was upset by some newspaper articles covering some fool Frenchman’s achievements, so he went for it himself. Going backwards, doing cord workout in the meantime. The local youngsters ran after him, first just to mock him, but later, out of breath, they started to took things seriously. After a while it became common for the whole village to run backwards and do the cord workout at the same time. Mihály also had a gym built on his property: walls built of wire, the roof made of tin-plates. Though the wind blows through the building, it gets crowded every afternoon with ill fated teenagers, who want to break free from their cages with the help of Mihály, trying to turn back the clock-hands of the reversed time.
